my parents: why don't you hang out with your friends?
me: because you won't buy me plane tickets to visit them
my friends: i love it when my boyfriend tells me he loves me
me: i love it when my microwave tells me my food is ready

I think the Impala has outlived its place on the show. I mean, come on, this show is about Sam and Dean, shots of the Impala driving down the road or smashing into signs are too distracting from what the story is really about. They keep bringing it back perfectly repaired which is fanservice and I’m getting really tired of the car getting in the way of the brother dynamic. Can you believe they let Dean drive alone sometimes? Poor Sam. When did this become the Dean/Impala show? I bet its run out of gas or had problems starting before which is completely unforgivable, I don’t care if most cars usually go through a time where they have some technical issues. The car has been severely out of place since 1967 and anybody who actually enjoys having it around is not a true fan. I think it’s time to upgrade to a 2012 Honda Odyssey, but only if it can be used as a tool whenever they need help.

when you accidentally refer to celebrities casually by their first name as if you’re close personal friends and all your friends judge you constantly because you have lost control of yourself and have no boundaries or rules and you’re just floating out in space like dark matter alone and cold and creepy

There are a couple types of SPN Fans:

heysammy:

blamemisha:

  • SPN Purists: They like/love season 1-3 the most and find 4 & 5 to be sad seconds. 6 & 7 are complete abominations.
  • SPN Critics: There’s always a better episode, a better moment, a better dialog, a better season, etc. Literally, nothing is good enough for them.
  • SPN Emotionalists: They cry. All the time. At everything. Because everything can be interpreted as a ship related thing or just a winchester!feels thing. They analyse every situation for feels. And find them.
  • SPN Loyalists: They watch every episode after Season 5 and find all the good things in them. They get insulted when someone says the show should have ended at Swan Song and they lose a heart piece when a fan drops from SPN with the phrase, “Its been ruined by Season *”
  • SPN Newbies: They just got finished watching the non-airing Seasons and are in the post watch where the fandom is a rainbow of fun and fabulousness and greatness. (They soon turn into SPN Cynics)
  • SPN Cynics: People who think the fandom is horrible and evil and rude and mean. They hate the ship wars and arguments to the point that they start insulting the fandom and the show daily.
  • SPN Crazies: Easy to explain and spot. They are simply… psychopaths.

There are more types… so many more, but these are my most spotted. (And yes, there are mixtures)

  • SPN Extremists: Their whole fan existence consists of trying to convince everyone how canon their ship is, while constantly insulting and invalidating all other ships.
  • SPN Experts: They know their canon, kind of like the geeks of this fandom having seen every episode at least twice and knowing every bit of trivia that exists by heart.
  • SPN Analysts: People who are able to construct term-papery analyses of all kinds of dialogues, scenery or even of the clothes the boys wore. Mostly found under READ MOREs.
  • SPN Artists: That amazing bunch of extremely talented people who put their skills to good use by creating fanart, gifs, cosplays, songs, videos, poetry etc.
